About RoofQuote Check
RoofQuote Check is a YI Media tool that helps homeowners understand and compare roofing proposals.
What it does
Upload one roofing proposal for a Quote Health Check, or two to four proposals to compare them. RoofQuote Check reads each proposal and focuses on three things:
- What's included in the quote — what each proposal clearly includes, clearly excludes, or doesn't say.
- Pricing differences — how prices compare when each proposal is checked against the same checklist of key roofing items, shown as estimates.
- Items that may need clarification — questions you may want to ask a contractor before you sign.
What it doesn't do
RoofQuote Check does not recommend, rank or certify contractors. It does not inspect your roof or property, and it does not verify a contractor's workmanship, licensing, insurance or code compliance. Results are based only on what the uploaded proposals say.
